LOW-DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT
Gilead Stage 2
CLIENT: LENDLEASE
PROJECT PHASE: MASTER PLANNING
ENSPIRE'S ROLE: PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN
What We Delivered:
Enspire continue to deliver civil engineering and project management services associated with the development of the Gilead Stage 2 masterplan yielding 3000+ residential lots. The project is in the master planning phase and Enspire’s role includes assessing multiple design options with corresponding whole of life project costs. Enspire has also been intimately involved with assessment of various masterplan layouts, working in with the constraints of developing environmental conservation legislation.
Challenges & Value:
Challenges and opportunities for the site include conservation, servicing, access, falls and subsurface rock. Enspire has worked collaboratively with Lendlease and its specialist geotechnical consultant to develop three-dimensional rock surface profiles to increase volume estimate accuracy of rock and strategise reduction and reuse opportunities.
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
Erskine Park Industrial Estate
CLIENT: FDC
PROJECT PHASE: DETAILED DESIGN
ENSPIRE'S ROLE: CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN AND SITE SUPPORT
What We Delivered:
Enspire delivered the civil engineering design and documentation associated with the extension of Lockwood Road. This included bulk earthworks associated with the building sites and the associated stormwater drainage system including the permanent water quality wetlands from concept design. Enspire provided services to from development application through to construction inspections and certifications.
The scope of Enspire’s design included grading of proposed commercial lots and access roads to ensure freeboard from the PMF flood event, provide building platforms with suitable grades to allow for future building development and the provision of trunk stormwater drainage including water quantity and quality through the implementation of gross pollutant devices and a floating wetland and detention basin.
Challenges & Value:
A key challenge Enspire overcame was the integration of the design with existing development without compromising the project vision including the balancing of material placement to minimise import and export along with providing a stormwater treatment train adjacent to an environmental management area and constructing over and adjacent a trunk Sydney Water wastewater main.
MIXED USE SMART CITY
Sydney Science Park
CLIENT: CELESTINO
PROJECT PHASE: MASTER PLANNING AND DETAILED DESIGN
ENSPIRE'S ROLE: CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
What We Delivered:
Sydney Science Park will be a mixed use smart city that will create an internationally recognised epicentre for research, development, education, commercialisation and innovation.
Enspire continue to deliver project management and civil engineering services to facilitate the development of Celestino's vision. The team collaborate with the wider professional team to develop the master plan with consideration to water management solutions and planned transport infrastructure. Enspire is now leading the design teams into the detailed design phase for several phases of the master plan.
This is a complex and rewarding project that Enspire is proud and grateful to be a part of.
Challenges & Value:
The vision relies on out of the box thinking to build viable solutions for the provision of current and future utilities. Enspire continue to undertake research and present options to Celestino to service the development. In addition, offering solutions for reducing heat island effects and water management solutions are crucial for a future of thriving environments in the Western Sydney location.
LOW-DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT
The Hermitage and Camden Lakeside
CLIENT: SEKISUI HOUSE
PROJECT PHASE: DETAILED DESIGN, PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND CONSTRUCTION DELIVERY
ENSPIRE'S ROLE: CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN, PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENCY
What We Delivered:
Enspire is currently providing project management services, construction superintendency and delivering concept and detailed designs of Sekisui House Australia’s low and medium density residential developments located in Gledswood Hills. The developments will yield in excess of 700 lots integrated with the surrounding golf courses and requires the implementation of high-resolution design to provide outstanding house product solutions within areas of steep grades and an undulating natural surface.
The development also requires the relocation of 132kV overhead transmission infrastructure and consideration of sensitive Aboriginal and European heritage elements.
Challenges & Value:
Sekisui House’s high-quality vision for their residential estates requires careful planning to ensure the residential precincts are coordinated with their surrounds, integrate with and protect stands of existing mature trees and maximise views of the surrounding golf course whilst delivering land for low and medium density housing product. The design considers these requirements whilst balancing the impact on the projects surrounds.
